Overview
Welcome to the inaugural Clonbur Off Road Duathlon – Rule The Woods, a very unique event to Ireland! We are so lucky to have such a natural resource available to stage the event. Please keep in mind that Clonbur Woods are part of the Joyce Country & Western Lakes Geopark – more information on this can be found on Geological Survey
We are operating a LEAVE NO TRACE policy, any participant found in breach of this will be immediately disqualified from the race and will be directed straight back to the transition area.

The Route to Rule The Woods!
The race starts with a 4.5KM trail run beginning from the car park of Clonbur GAA Grounds. You will exit the rear gate, turn left and follow the Boat House Road towards the Graveyard Entrance to Clonbur Woods, from here you will follow the fire road trail in a large loop which brings you back out onto the Boat House road. From here it is a quick dash back to the GAA Grounds for Transition 1.
